Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to the second grade! We are looking forward to an exciting and challenging new school year in September. Below is a list of supplies that we have found to be helpful for second graders.

• 2 separate 70 page spiral notebooks (wide ruled)
• 1 large box of tissues
• colored pencils
• pencils 
• crayons (24 pack)
• metal scissors
• eraser ruler, one side inches, the other centimeters
• glue sticks
• small bottle of Elmer's school glue
• supply box, about the size of a cigar box (please no larger, larger ones don't fit in the desks)
• backpack or bookbag

Please mark all possessions with first and last name as you purchase the supplies, this makes both your job and ours easier. We request that your child not bring markers to school, we do not use them in second grade. We also have a suggested list of donations. These are things that we use in the classroom and anything that you can donate will help us out. Please do not feel that you need to purchase all of these items, one or two of them will be very helpful. The items are: Clorox Clean-Up wipes, extra glue sticks, tissues, napkins, and quart and gallon size zip lock bags.
