Here are a few important things to remember......When entering Lessenger, please come to the office first to sign in and receive a visitor pass; Call the "Safety Check" number at (248) 589-0556 (prompt #3), if your child/children will not be attending school because of illness, doctor appointments, etc., before 8:00 a.m.
If you need to speak with the secretary directly, please dial ext. 2404; Inform the office of any changes in information i.e., phone numbers, etc., on your child's emergency cards. It is very important we are able to reach you in case of an emergency.
School does not start until 8:30 a.m. For your child's safety, your child SHOULD NOT ARRIVE AT SCHOOL UNTIL AFTER 8:20 A.M. unless your child is participating in our daily breakfast program or the Walking Club (Mondays & Wednesdays). These students should not arrive before 8:00 a.m. There is NO ADULT SUPERVISION before that time. In addition, school is dismissed at 3:33 p.m. Please make sure you pick your child(ren) up on time. Thanks for your cooperation in keeping the safety of our students in mind! |

ALL students, with or without a parent/adult, are expected to wait outside in the morning before the bell and may also spend part of the lunch period on the playground with the supervisors with the following exceptions: rainy weather, temperature less than 20 degrees Fahrenheit or 10 degrees or less with the wind chill factor or a written statement from a doctor. |
For the safety of our students, please park your vehicle in a designated parking spot when picking up and/or dropping off students. DO NOT pull along the curb in the fire lane and park your car, or even wait for your child to exit the building. By doing that you create a hazardous obstacle for our young children to maneuver. You are welcome to pull into the bus apron located parallel to Campbell Road to wait for your child but, please do not block the bus or pull in and out at the staff parking lot. Again, this creates a dangerous situation for our children. If everyone works toward the common goal of creating a safe environment for our children, we can certainly achieve it! |
