Hiller is such a wonderful school community and I have appreciated the opportunity to meet many of you so far this year. I am enjoying getting to know your children, and seeing the excitement in their faces as they enter and exit the school building each day.
We are continuing to keep our mission statement "Educating Every Child Every Day" as our central focus at Hiller. Many new books were purchased to add to our classroom libaries this year, and we are excited to be able to use them effectively throughout the school day in every classroom. I am looking forward to watching our students continue to grow academically as our school year progresses!
We have many fun-filled events that are offered for our students at Hiller. Many of these events are hosted by our HERO parent group. Please consider attending the parent meetings this year. If you would like to volunteer and cannot attend the meetings that is okay. Please let our office know if you are interested in volunteering to help out with any of our school events.
I would like to ask for your help with keeping our students safe by driving slowly and carefully in our parking lot, and along the streets of LaSalle and Delton. Additionally, please make sure to check in our school office to obtain a visitor's pass if you are picking up or dropping off your child early, or if you are volunteering in our building. Let's work together to ensure that every child is safe at Hiller by following these precautions.
