Michigan Merit Examination
MME Testing is a Graduation Requirement
The Michigan Merit Examination is the state assessment administered to all students enrolled in Grade 11 in March of each year. The MME consists of three major components: the ACT plus Writing college entrance examination, the WorkKeys job skills assessments, and Michigan assessments in mathematics, science, and social studies. The combined MME assessment measures student learning in the Michigan high school standards, benchmarks, and core content expectations.

All Students Taking the MME
Students must take the entire MME - Day 1, Day 2,
and Day 3 because multiple components are required to obtain a valid MME score in each subject. Not participating in any single session or component will make it impossible to obtain a valid MME score in one or more subjects.
