Anticipation grew throughout the evening as RAM fans gathered for the 19th annual
Lamphere Athletic Boosters Club (LABC) $10,000 drawing. The event, a reverse raffle, is
held each year to raise funds for the student athletes of Lamphere Schools.
Ticket after ticket was drawn from the pool of 150 tickets until only 10 remained. These
ten ticket holders were the lucky few who would get to decide whether to split the $10,000
prize or to continue pulling numbers with the hope of winning a bigger share. This year's
prize was split between 9 ticket holders and all were happy to go home with their share
of the prize.
