SADD on staying active

Activity is one of the great joys of life. There's nothing like the good feeling you get after finishing a hard practice, turning in a tough project, or even hanging out with friends.

We all spend a lot of time saying, "Wow... I'm sooooo bored." Well, SADD helps you find things to do.

You can:

1. Join a club or sports team - this is a great way to stay busy and make friends.

2. Volunteer - Want to feel worthwhile and fulfilled? Try making someone else's life a little easier. Nothing feels better than helping others.

Volunteering

Sign up on the volunteer list in Mrs. Gilmore's room.

We volunteer whenever we get the chance. We've helped out Families in Need at Page and Lamphere, and we've gone to Forgotten Harvest.

Ride for Life

This year, our driving campaign's focus was 'Safe Riding.' This meant that passengers, along with drivers, had to accept the responsibility of staying safe, each and every time they sat in a vehicle.

Our campaign ended with three straight days of experimenting with a driving simulator, riding tricycles with drunk-driving goggles, and pledging to act safe and responsible in vehicles.
