The John Page Student Council offers an opportunity for students to become actively involved in the school community and take on a leadership role within the classroom.  By participating in Student Council, members will promote school spirit, develop positive relationships amongst students and staff, and demonstrate a respect for the core values that are at the heart of John Page Middle School.  Student Council members are responsible for representing and serving the needs of the student body through coordinating student activities and fundraisers during the school year, attending monthly meetings and sharing important information with their classmates.

During the 2012-2013 school year, Student Council will consist of two students from each 4th hour SSR classroom - one representative and one alternate.  Meetings will be held approximately once a month during the 4th hour/SSR/Lunch time period.  Student Council is a year-long commitment, and occasionally participation in after-school events will be required.
